I understand no one can predict the weather. BUT!!.. when your boat is going to depart in 2 hours and the weather forecast shows 90 percent showers with thunderstorms..COME ON!! Nope the captain said it was good and he is the only one that can call it off. Book as you wish but this boat will go out in a thunderstorm and does not care. BUYER BEWARE!! READ THE CANCELLATION!! We seen strikes of lightning and I'm sure he did too. That boat went out for 2 hours max and still charged the same price.

A group of 5 of us went out on the taxi cruise on August 26. Our Captain, Jim did a wonderful job. Told us facts about the lake. Suggestions on things to do. I hope to be back this year before they close for the season.

When attempting to book a bar hop cruise for a bachelorette party, the night we had intended did not have enough spots available for our party of 12. We booked for the next night. On the night of what was supposed to be the full cruise that we were unable to book, we were called by the company and asked why we were not attending. When I tried to discuss the booking error and clarify that we were unable to book for that night and should have been scheduled for the next night, the owner was rude, confrontational, and only interested in discussing other water taxis that were cutting into his market share. After hanging up, we discovered through other customer reviews that booking errors have happened as a result of this company's system before and the owner is unwilling to work with customers to resolve the issue. I called the owner again to discuss the matter and received the same rude lack of concern. In addition to filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I am in the process of disputing the charge on my card and felt it was necessary to write a review on all possible sites so no other customers' weekend or events are ruined by such an untrustworthy and consumer unconcerned business owner.

Buyer beware. They will be your friend until something doesn't go the right way, then they will loose all communication with you and accuse you of harassment. The night we booked happened to be the worst storm that summer, as the captain even mentioned as he picked us up. Their website says safety of their passengers in their #1 priority and will cancel in inclement weather... Sure, maybe it won't be that bad & since you can't cancel 30 days prior, we better make the use of it. We got on with 3 other college boys and it was miserable. Piercing rain, winds & lightening all around. We were the only boat on the water. 5 minutes later we were dropped off at Tap & Grill where you can start with a spin dip for only $16.99. What we were going to do there for 2.5 hours in the pouring rain was beyond me so we called it before we began and asked to take us back. Start to finish for $120, we were gone 30 minutes.. not 5 -11pm. He offered just 2 of us, not all 6, to come back again maybe in the fall. We live 6 hours away. It proceeded to have flash floods, lightening til 2 am and over 8 inches of rain that day.. but did we get a refund? no. Did they stop answering text and emails? yes. Not one other company would make you take a boat out in that water in that situation. It wasn't safe at all. Very disappointed in this company.

When booking our reservation the screen refreshed and defaulted to the nearest date. After submitting payment via PayPal and receiving confirmation we noticed the wrong date. My friend called immediately, to which there was no answer, so she left a message. The man contacted her the following day with instructions to change to the correct date. I emailed him the requested information the following day. That evening, he called to say he was only willing to refund half of my money because I waited until the last minute to provide him with the information. After raising his voice and cursing at me, I opted out of the cruise entirely. He is still only willing to refund half of my money.
